Finance Manager

Evelyn is Hillhouse’s Finance Manager. She has been working in professional services for over 30 years, is a CPA, holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance, a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Justice of the Peace.

She manages the day to day financial operations of the firm, providing timely and accurate information to drive business growth whilst ensuring compliance with accounting and tax obligations.

“I enjoy working with each of the lawyers and management to drive improved performance by providing accurate, timely information”.

Evelyn is responsible for budgeting and forecasting, cashflow management, reporting and contributing to strategic planning. Her insight and skilful understanding of the accounting process assists Hillhouse’s operations to run smoothly.

Evelyn takes a dedicated approach to her work is motivated by seeing the positive difference analysing the details can make to the big picture.

Numbers are never one dimensional – they can tell us so much about the business and the internal and external environment. One of the aspects I like the best is working with the Managing Director and Directors to plan strategic milestones as the business grows
